Matthew and Jan would totally have deserved to live through the Depression. Of course, they would have kept spending and ruined the family completely. At least Jefferson & Marsha and James & Cindy will have the sense to make the necessary changes to their lifestyle.
They do have the essentials, and that is the important thing. Once I finish the next chapter, I'll do a post explaining my Depression-era game restrictions.
