fuzzy_spork)
Characters: Nick, Alice, Steven, Peggy, Nettie

Summary: It’s the space race! Except Nick doesn’t buy it.
Notes: Canon. I’m undecided as to whether or not it will appear in a future chapter, so can be spoilery. The italicized text is from President Kennedy’s “To the Moon Speech” he gave in September of 1962 at Rice University in Texas.

The War Years Saga – Behind the Scenes
Jul. 22nd, 2013 10:59 pmNow that I’ve had a bit of a chance to decompress from the epic war chapters, I figured it was a good time to post some behind the scenes/picspam stuff, to give you all a chance to understand a little better some of what I was thinking and why things turned out the way they did.
( +108(!!!) Pictures and Meta…slow connections beware. )

Prompt: Being rescued from the battlefield (
penguingirl03)
Characters: Nope, gotta read if you want to know.
Rating: PG-13 for subject matter.
Summary: I think the prompt is summary enough.
Notes: Spoilery. Oh, so, so, SO spoilery. But I can’t write this and not have you know who it is by his situation, so I might as well spell it out in black and white. Don’t read unless you want a big, fat spoiler for a certain legacy couple’s war chapter.

Prompt: “Oversexed, overpaid, and over here.” (
dicreasy)
Characters: Nick, Walter
Rating: PG
Summary: Walter and Nick have an unexpected reunion.
Notes: Canon-ish. What does that mean? Well, it fits into the basic outline for what I have planned, but I’m not sure if this scene will actually take place. Therefore, canon-ish.

Third Legiversary - Mini-Photoshoot
Nov. 11th, 2012 02:18 pmGreetings!
Three years ago today, I posted my legacy prologue. In all honesty, it doesn't feel like it's been three years since I started this project. A lot has changed since then, both in the legacy and in RL for me. Legacy-wise, we've moved forward about 200 years from the Colonial period to the verge of a second World War. There have been some great characters, some real bastards (Matthew, I'm looking at you!), and in general good times. There have been 27 chapters (28 if you include the prologue), 2 interludes (Alex and Phily, who I still miss dearly), and all kinds of side projects like my Asylum and Trailer Park Challenge. In RL, I've quit a job that made me unhappy (and took away from my Simming time) and gone back to school to pursue my dream of becoming a therapist. So yeah, it's been a long three years.
I have a small photoshoot to share with you today. As I'm frantically working on the next chapter AND some papers for RL school, I didn't have time for much else. But as today is Veteran's Day in the US, I felt it would be appropriate to share some images from a few of the main characters who will be serving in the Sim Military very soon, as well as the ladies keeping the home fires burning for them. I hope you enjoy.
