OMG LOVED IT!!! The casting was brilliant and I loved your adaptation of JK's world to fit your characters. Thanks for turning it into a little story for us! It was a lot of fun to see all the pictures.

Awwww, lovely. And I think it made the Slytherin founder sound initially more reasonable than he came across in the books, though he's a snobby jerk either way :P

Thanks! I always thought that Slytherin had to have a somewhat decent side, or the other three wouldn't have wanted to work with him at all. And he probably thought he was cunning enough to sway the others to his point of view. I'm glad you like it.

It's great to see this - and amazing how well they all fit into the characters you assigned them. Quite a lot of fun, and I'm glad you took the pictures as well as wrote the story!

Interestingly, this version of Matthew gets worse as he ages, while your main story version generally got better. I guess it's the reaction of those around him.

Also, I always stood with Hufflepuff, which may be why I am one: everyone should be accepted. Admittedly, there should maybe be different levels of classes based on ability, but everyone can at least do something - and in HP canon, controlling magic is paramount. Untrained wizards and witches can cause accidents, and learning how to do magic properly seems to play a role in ending those accidents.

So how bad was the shooting? That looks like a huge lot and a LOT of sims at times. Speaking of, who'd you use for the students? Your sims? Random sims?

Alexander looks uber weird with straight hair, even if it was necessary for the hat.

Can't wait for your next real chapter!

It’s is scarily odd how well the four from gen 4 fit in with the Hogwarts Four. I swear it was completely coincidental. :) It was a lot of fun to take the pictures to go along with it in addition to writing the story.

Well, I’m not sure how much of it was Matthew getting worse so much as it was Matthew concealing his true feelings because he knew those around him wouldn’t agree with them. I imagine it grated on him that the other three came so close to him in the House Cup race (at least in my ‘verse), since he was convinced that pure blood wizards were the best at magic.

I think that Hufflepuff had it right as well. It was important that the wizards and witches learned to control their magic. And I’m pretty sure Ravenclaw and Gryffindor realized that as well. Slytherin was just an elitist jerk, and wanted things his way (I seriously wonder if Slytherin and Matthew are long-lost twins separated at birth. No way Matthew’s really related to Henri).

Shooting was not fun, let me tell you. I downloaded a Hogwarts lot, and picked up the Super Duper Hug Bug in the process (it’s fixed now). The extras were random bin Sims I aged to teen for filming purposes. The lot crashed because of too many Sims at least twice, and once I’d filmed the Great Hall stuff I kicked a bunch of them out (aged one to adult, move out with a bunch of the teens). I’m glad I did it in a throwaway ‘hood, since that’s exactly what I ended up doing with it.

Alex does look odd with straight hair, but the accessory hat I found looked HORRIBLE on him. Hence, Maxis hat.

Working towards a real chapter! Hopefully in a week or two.
