I finished the spring roation today.  Far too many members of generation 3 are gone now, including Thomas.  I'm very sad.  Some random thoughts about what's going on with my game.

1) I'm going to break down and install Pets again.  I've had an idea for a storyline that involves Lizzy getting a dog, and it can't be done with the lame little thing that came with AL, so Pets it is.

2) I think I need to prepare of a rebuild.  The sims are starting to roll "Buy Unnamable object" wants, and in SimPE, I have lots of sims who have Mr. Potatohead as their avitars.  I believe this is a VBT, so I spent some time today extracting sims, and packaging lots.  If I'm going to do this, I'm going to set up a blank neighborhood so that I have it for furture needs if necessary.

3) I'm so looking forward to getting into modern times with the legacy.  Jefferson and Elizabeth's fun TANKS when they are at school, and it's such a pain to get it back up enough so that they'll do their homework.  Plus, it's a pain to hide the burglar alarm and the smoke detector.

4) I know what needs to happen in Chapter 13, but need to go through and finalize the timeline and plot points.  I have a huge project for work at the end of the month, and don't know when I'll be able to work on the story before then.  Hopefuly, I'll find the time to do it before too long.

That's all for now.  Maybe I'll share some spoiler pics later.

Unnameable objects? Lol the mind boggles. Mr Potato heads happen, so long as everything else looks fine that's ok. But it's always good to make regular backups and have your legacy sims extracted anyway.

Red hands is the best way to raise fun, that and weeding the garden. In my medieval hood I use a pot plant fire alarm.

Seconding red hands, here. It's a lifesaver in an apoc, and historical stuff has similar limitations. Jefferson and Lizzy should be able to play three or four games of red hands when they get home from school and have full fun bars at the end. Being twins helps - they'll be able to do it together.

I'll have to remember to try that. They're teens now, so it's not as bad since they're not in school as long. But they're a little behind on where their skills should be, so red hands between cram sessions should be a good thing. Thanks for the advice!

I know. I've never seen that want before, and I'm nervous. I figure the best thing to do is prepare a blank 'hood, and have all sims extracted, just in case it goes boom.

Lizzie loves to weed the garden. Jefferson, not so much. I always forget about red hands. I also have some nice artwork in the house now, so viewing it helps.
