Birth Annoncement & Update

Ladies and gentleman, a healthy baby was born to Jefferson and Marsha Bradford today. If you want to know more than that, click below. Warning - spoilers for chapter 17 ahead.




The first born has Marsha's S3 skin, Jefferson and Marsha's brown hair, and Jefferson's blue eyes. Let me introduce you to James Bradford, generation 6 heir.

A very nice blend of both his parents features. His stats are 10/3/9/9/1(!). Another mean Bradford.

I'm going to extract the gen 6ers tonight, because the next rotation will take place in Simsfield v 2.0. That's right, I'm jumping ship. Nothing bad has happened, but I'd rather move things now before they go boom. As the empty hood is all set to go, all I need to do is add the sims, and with my notes that won't take me too long. All should be back up and running in a week or so.

You're so lucky, haven't you had a boy first go nearly every generation? But so very neat as well as mean.

I have been really lucky. The only non-firstborn male was when Carolina had Anne and Diana first go, and then Henri and Matthew the second time. So technically, Matthew is 4th-born. I must say though, for plot purposes, boys first kinda sucks. No tension, no "oh-crap-what-happens-if-I-don't-get-a-boy" moments. But I still have 4 genrations to go. Plenty of time for that.

I almost missed Carolina getting Jan. She's done it before, but I laugh each and every time. Jan is the only on that Carolina seems to scare. I love how the game can deliver poetic justice.

Yay baby! And yay for not HAVING to have an heir later. :D Admittedly, it would add plot if you had girls first repeatedly, or a younger son who wanted to be heir, but do you really want to have to wait for your 7th main house kid before getting an heir as Cait did?

Believe me, I'm not complaining about stressing over an heir. I saw what Cait went through, and the family is big enough without needing 7 or 8 kids in the main household. But a firstborn girl would be nice, provided that a brother came along shortly there after.
