* I adore Cyrus. He was a cute toddler, a great kid, and now a phenomenal teen. He’s probably my favorite male spare since Patrick back in generation 3.

* Cyrus just became a teen, so I haven’t had much of a chance to see how he interacts with the characters in the story. Having said that, he will end up with Georgianna, my Sim!Daughter. They’re both Romance, and will be happy together. I also think that Cyrus/Octavia (Victor & Jane’s daughter) would be very good, as she’s Pleasure, but she only has 1 nice point to Cyrus’ 10. Plus, I doubt 2 Family Sims would want their daughter to marry a Romance Sim whose LTW is to WooHoo 20 Sims.

* I can see Cyrus being good friends with William Bear. They’re both very nice and playful, and I can see lots of shenanigans. Plus, with William a Family Sim, I can see lots of colorful arguments about girls between them.

* Hmm…he’s a bit self-centered and spoiled. All those nice and playful points lead him to be resistant to direction. He hates to study and skill. If I bought a train set, he’d be all over that. It’s too bad that it’s too soon to use the rebuildable car, because he would totally be happy with making a living off of refurbishing and selling them. Other than his 10 neat points making him all stompy about being stinky.

* Cyrus will rush to Viola’s aid during a family crisis that alienates James.

Matthew.

* Ah, Matthew. Despite him being a mean old bastard, I kind of liked him. He made great evil faces, and it was so easy to twist his Victorian desire for respectability into something more sinister. Don’t get me wrong – I’m glad he’s gone. But he was fun to write and play.

* Jan. End of discussion. She was his partner-in-crime in every way imaginable. He was too mean to like anyone else. And he seriously heart-barfted everyone else I tried to hook him up with.

* Not sure here. Matthew really didn’t have any friends, as his actions led everyone to mistrust him. For a time in college, he and his cousin Cole Phoenix were pretty tight, but after that, he’s pretty much been a loner.

* This is a case where story!Matthew and game!Matthew differ. Story!Matthew – jerk. Game!Matthew, well, he wasn’t too bad. Sure, I got the evil hand rub a lot, and he gave me the “who, me?” look whenever I directed him to interact nicely with people, but he did it. And there wasn’t a lot of autonomous poking or slaping, even with those he didn’t have a high relationships score with. Plus, he would autonomously interact with his grandkids. Seriously. I would have to drag him out of the nursery for photoshoots. So all in all, he was okay.

* He is dead. He will stay dead. And as the graves are now on their own community lot, we probably won’t be seeing his ghost either, unless I have a Knowledge Sim that needs an aspiration boost, and Matthew happens to be haunting at that moment.

Viola.

* I love Viola. I really wanted a daughter for Marsha and Jefferson, and she came along so quickly after her brother. There are times when I wish that I hadn’t done the male-heir-only thing, because she would be soooooo great as the heiress. She really is an artist, though I wonder about her taste at times, as she insists on painting the basic paintings even though she maxed out her creativity as a toddler.

* Viola/Sterling all the way. For a time, she was going to get one of the other distant cousins, but she and Sterling are so cute together.

* I would say Calla, but only to a point. Viola is a bit of a loner as she spends so much time with her easel. The other person, though I haven’t shown it much, is Cyrus. They get along really well, especially now that he’s a teen and she can’t boss him around so quickly.

* She needs a backbone. She was scared to tell her family about Sterling being her boyfriend, and that lead to Marsha being unprepared for Melanie’s attack and James’ feeling left out. And she’s very vain and cares too much about external appearances, as shown by her joy in getting to wear makeup as a teen.

* Sterling will make choices in college that have dire consequences for Viola.
