It's at least 2 chapters away, but I got my hands on this today, and sharing could not wait.

This is Alice, in her custom-designed wedding dress by Cait.

Even though this is in a dummy 'hood, I can't help but love the expression on her face. She wants to be happy, but it just doesn't quite get there. I'm not 100% sure this will be her final wedding look, but it will be something along these lines. Of course the dress will be the same.
That's all. And thank you, Cait, for making my Alice such a lovey dress to wear on her big day.

on 2012-04-24 03:16 am (UTC)The tiara is actually a circlet of flowers. It doesn't hover too much at all, and if the hair is too poofy it actually hides it. I don't know if this is the white recolor I got from AAS (http://www.all-about-style.com/hats_6.html) or one of the originals from Peggy (http://www.peggyzone.com/Object.html?type=05_03_00). They're free, under hair accessories if the link doesn't work. You do need to get the mesh from Peggy's site, as it's not on AAS.
ETA: The Peggy link will take you to the last page of the hair accessories. The flower tiara starts on about page 6 I think.

on 2012-04-25 12:09 am (UTC)I like it so much I may be tempted to use it for more than one bride this generation, or for someone later on down the line as a "vintage" dress.
