Okay, last but not least, have some picspam from the Bradford household.

And here’s James and Cindy’s wedding picture. Cindy, unlike her other friends, does not have a custom ring. Yet.

It must be an outgoing or a teenage thing, but Nick likes to check himself out. Yes, Nick, we know you’re a heartthrob.

When nearly everyone is playful, there’s lots of shenanigans going on at any given time.

Of course, when they also have a lack of nice points, it makes some play interesting (I love their cute little faces here!).

Like grandfather like grandson. :)

I’m wondering if I should get rid of the rugs…

I really wish I’d made some of the OFB toys sooner. Danny and Dotty love them.

And everyone loves Cindy (just don’t let James or Marsha catch you doing that, Jefferson).

These two… :p

I’m thinking Jefferson and Marsha aren’t fans of the new portraits…though Jefferson at least is laughing at himself.

Jefferson and Marsha were one of my favorite couples. It really, really didn’t seem fair that Marsha went so far ahead of Jefferson. I had quite the scene in mind for her passing.

Not helpful, Jefferson.

Don’t shock your sister, Danny.

And your grandmother is not a better choice, young man.

You’re probably wondering why there were no shots of Marsha with Grimmy in the last chapter. Well, he glitched somehow, and all I got was the sudden disappearance of Marsha, and the appearance of her urn. So that’s why you got a blank, black slide in the chapter.

I thought about using one of these pics, but it just didn’t seem to fit in my mind.

The little ones seem to miss her most of all.

Jefferson, however, seems to be recovering okay.

These two are the best of friends.

I just love how pretty this picture is. <3 my lighting mod.

Somebody’s got Dad’s cheeks :P

The do bicker quite a bit, but get along well in between. It’s their lack of nice points, I know.

Alice truly is in Sterling’s employ now.

And apparently it’s treating her very well, if she can bring the limo when she sneaks out with Nick.

These guys both do befuddled very well, yes?

Nick and Alice are adorable, even when they’re fighting.

James, at Marsha’s staged funeral. I hadn’t written the scene for it to be raining, but it started and I liked how it looked so I let it be. Of course, it had its side affects.

A certain generation 7 heir got struck by lightning, and was Mr. Crankypants about it for the rest of the time they were on the community lot.
That’s all the picspam I have for now. Hope you enjoyed!

on 2012-07-13 07:58 pm (UTC)As you know, I absolutely adore your custom engagement rings (though the ring glitch always sucks).
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! HOLD ON! Your Sims can SHOCK each other if they walk over a rug? WHAT?! WHY AM I JUST FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS AFTER 8 YEARS OF PLAYING?! I have never, EVER seen that!
Dotty and Danny are very very cute (and I see that they have The Nose as well. Must be from James/Marsha).
I don't know what causes teenaged Sims to check themselves out in the mirror like that, but it can't be Outgoing points because Zane did it when he was a teenager, and he only has 5 Outgoing.
Oh man, I'd be in a blind panic if my game did to me what it did to you with Marsha's death. It's really strange that Grim himself didn't show up and that she just disappeared like that.
Anyway, I loved your pic spam (and your last chapter) and I can't wait until your next update!

on 2012-07-13 10:12 pm (UTC)Yeah, the ring glitch is annoying, but fixable. And I'm partial to my custom rings myself.
Yup. If you put the buyable rugs from the Deco category of the buy catalog on the ground, and your Sims are (I'm guessing here) Mean and Outgoing, they will give someone nearby a static shock. It might be only kids that can do it, as that's the only ones I've ever seen do it. The animation for the shocker is the same as the Uni joy buzzer one, but still funny.
Yes, Dotty and Danny have the Nose (as to a few of my spare running around). It is from Marsha via James. In fact, I'm pretty sure Nick has it too.
The mirror thing could just be a teenager thing. As most of my gen 7 is now teens, I'm seeing it all the time.
I have no idea what happened with Marsha. But she's dead, according to SimPE, and everyone has the "Marsha Died" memory, so I'm crossing my fingers that it's not a sign of impending doom (I am NOT rebuilding when I'm thisclose to the end).
Aw, thanks! I'm working on playing through the rotation, and hopefully getting the next chapter out before too much longer. At least not as big a gap as the last one was.

on 2012-07-14 04:04 am (UTC)Haha I haven't seen a rug glitch in ages, I always forget to place rugs.
It seems to only be teens who check themselves out although I have one adult male with 10 neat points who likes to primp in the little hand mirror a lot and a few adults who autonomously go to ‘gussy up’
I’d be more worried about Grim. Make sure all your game files are read only.

on 2012-07-14 03:46 pm (UTC)I have lots of mean, outgoing, and playful Sims, so I've seen it a lot.
Yeah, I'm guessing that the mirror thing is teen. I've got a few adults that like to gussy up too (Cindy comes to mind).
Well, Marsha was also blocked in by family, so Grimmy might have said, "eh, she knows how it goes by now." But I have checked game files, and everything else seems to be okay. *crosses fingers*

on 2012-07-14 05:27 am (UTC)Poor Marsha, missing Grim. :(
Because a limo is SO inconspicuous for sneaking out. *shakes head* That's one thing I just never got, really.
...Oh dear, poor Nick!

on 2012-07-14 03:49 pm (UTC)Poor Marsha indeed.
Yeah, limo is EXACTLY how I want to sneak out. I don't know why they didn't just have the person the playable teen is meeting show up and throw pebbles at a window or something. THAT would have been cool.
Yes, Nick was Not Impressed with me. Especially since he had to stand around, burned and stinky, until I took the whole family home.
