Picspam – Chapter 28 Part 1
Round one of two from the last chapter/rotation. This first batch is basically everything from the rotation except for the college house of the girls (Alice, Rosalie & Shirley) the college house of the boys (Nick & Walter), and the main house.
Gavigans

Nearly all of the pictures from the Gavigan house are variations on this one: Cordy and Harris playing chess and getting mad at each other for cheating since the both only have one nice point.
Thompson

I get such a kick out of the townies and their heart-barfing of my characters. Relax, dude. Ivy’s already married, and she’s going to stay that way. So you’re safe.

I still love the lighting mod I have. Dawn looks so pretty.

Here’s college student Audrey, with her husband-to-be Gavin Lajoie. Audrey already got her first kiss memory from him when they were teens, but poor Gavin doesn’t remember. The curse of being a townie.

Proposal time!

Gavin is Romance (as all of my townies seem to be for some odd reason), so he’s not exactly thrilled about the whole marriage thing. But Audrey likes him, so he’s stuck.
Phoenix

Nancy decided that she didn’t like the ring that Trent picked out.

Okay, now they’re in love. Try again, Trent?

Success!

All graduated and moved back into the family home.

Trent came home from work (all of the younger guys are taking jobs in the military career at first) with the flu. Luckily, he was able to hold off on coughing fits long enough for something important.

My first wedding of generation 7! May I present Mr. and Mrs. Trent Hogan!

Of course, since their ACR timers were screaming as I have it set for no unmarried woohoo, the first thing they did after tying the knot was jump into the hot tub.

And then they jumped into bed.

Of course, ACR is adding a whole new level of squick in so many ways. Like the fact that Muriel and Pierce are rather fond of using the sofa in their daughter and son-in-law’s bedroom for their shenanigans.
Silas Alcotts

Silas has become a Crazy Cat Man in his quest to have 6 pets reach the top of their careers. I hate that LTW. The cats are not coming over in the rebuild.

*sigh* For those who were wondering, Gilbert did not die a virgin.
Bears

The Bear household is one of my more normal ones. Kenneth got into private school.

Octavia and William Eldon got up to some shenanigans.

And Kenneth got himself a girl. I’m undecided if I’ll bring her into the new hood or not. He’s not super attached to her.

Since I cheated ages in this house, Kenneth didn’t get his first A+ until he was a teen.

And then it was time to send him off to college along with the rest of the leftover teens.
Langeraks

Lucy is Pleasure and wants lots of dates (I forget what kinds). This fellow was brought by the crystal ball. I don’t have his name in front of me, but because he is 1) Romance, 2) has the Nose, 3) spawned with a faux-hawk, he shall be referred to as Rhys-Wannabe in this picspam. :P

As you can see, he’s corrupted poor Lucy. (Silly me, I forgot you can’t corrupt the willing).

Though Mildred is Less Than Impressed with what is going on.

Peter went this rotation. He and Lenora and Jane Hutchins were the hangers-on of generation 5.

Lenora went the next day. :(

Then Lucy headed off to college, joining the rest of generation 7.
Hutchins

Since Edith has a LTW that I won’t fulfill, she got to wish for Peace of Mind. Mostly, because she had a fear that was going to come true, and I didn’t want her to go into aspiration failure.

That fear? Relative dying. Jane, the last member of generation 5, is gone. As is all of that generation. :(

Asher and Vivian didn’t seem to be too affected by Jane’s passing at all.

I love glitches. I really do. *eye roll*

Edith’s got herself a man too. I’m blanking on his name at the moment, and I don’t feel like getting up to find my notebook where it’s written down. :P

And Edith’s off to college too!
Simself

Posting these to show off my Simself’s 40s/50s makeover. She’s not too impressed, but I think it’s a good look for her.
Seiff

Ah, a moment of happiness in the Seiff household.

I’ve done some renovations (or should say I did some renovations, before the house glitched and I had to reset it) to get their kitchen more 1950s. At least I have the picture to help me recreate it.
Sterling Alcotts

Only one pic from Sterling & Viola’s house? Bad me. See the mess that Howie makes whenever he takes a shower. Very few neat points that boy has.
Cyrus Bradfords

Cyrus and Georgianna are thoroughly enjoying having ACR installed. Trust me.

Freddy carries on the family tradition of being part of the Tub Pirate Brigade.

And Cyrus tears himself away from the hot tub long enough to say goodbye to Freddy as he headed off to college.
That’s all for this batch. Stand by for a round featuring the main house and college stuff soon.

on 2013-02-18 01:52 am (UTC)At least that means all the men can bring each other home from work? It does make logical sense.
You know, it's just as well that Steven is a boy, as even if the house can be inherited by girls, it would be a bit more difficult to explain names - even in the 60s, when women started keeping their own last names, kids still tended to have Dad's last name. I guess you could have hyphenated, but then they wouldn't be Bradfords anymore...
You know, the cat LTW can actually be done with two cats (or dogs), since it has to do with memories - each cat can top each career once and you're good.
...That first kiss animation looks so weird when it's an adult and a teen.
Not surprising to see gen 5 finally fully dying - they were certainly old enough by now! And that's the youngest group, really. It's sad to see them go, though.
I think SimHeidi looks lovely. Will she be excited when she's allowed to wear pants?
That is totally a 50s kitchen. You realize someone has to redo one in avocado green.
Can't wait for the main house!

on 2013-02-19 01:19 am (UTC)Yeah, that’s what I was thinking with the military career. They should all “know” each other, in my brain.
That is exactly why the main heir will probably be a boy until further notice. I really don’t want to lose the Bradford name just yet. Of course, if the game decides to mess with me, I’ll just have to play it by ear.
Yeah, I know that want can technically be done with only two pets, but it feels cheaty to me. Besides, having six cats running around makes things interesting, to say the least.
It really does look weird. And kind of wrong. But Lucy likes him, so I’ll let her have her fun.
Yeah, I had a few hangers-on. Even though it was definitely time for them to go, it was still sad to lose them.
Sim!Me is pretty upset that she lost her 1930s pants outfit. I’ll have to let her have them back, either in the 1960s or shortly thereafter.
Yes, someone will have to have an avocado green kitchen. I’m still trying to figure out who, though I can say with certainty it won’t be the main house.
Hoping to get the main house posted soon!
