Baby Boom - Generation 8 Pictures

silverbelleljOkay, I promised baby spam, considering how quickly generation 8 has exploded. So baby spam you shall have! Lots of pictures follow behind the cut, and most of them are of the latest round of kidlets.
If you get lost on who’s who, check out the family tree. I’ve updated it to add the latest round of kids.
Lajoie Family
This was the first house I played, so Audrey and her husband Gavin got to welcome the first round of baby boom babies.
This is Maureen Lajoie. Red hair, dark blue eyes, and S3.
Here she is as a toddler. She’s a Capricorn (10/7/2/8/6).
Not too much later, their second daughter Gayle came along. Red hair, dark blue eyes again, but she’s S1. I peaked, and she’s also a Capricorn, but her stats are 10/1/3/9/10.
One of the pics that has nothing to do with babies. My simself is the telescope slapper, and I didn’t realize her nice points would let her get so angry.
Hogan Family
Only one baby in this house this rotation. Meet Brenda Hogan. She’s got black hair, dark blue eyes, and S1.
And here she is as a toddler. She’s a 5/5/9/8/1 Sagittarius.
Clarence Alcott Family
This round, Loretta and Clarence welcomed little Gerald into the world. He’s got black hair, hazel eyes, and S3.
As a toddler. He’s a 5/4/7/3/7 Pisces.
Bear Family
Octavia looks on as Kenneth and Danielle get started on their contribution to gen 8. >.<
They had a boy, Clifford. Black hair, light blue eyes, S2.
As a sadfaced toddler because no one will let him out of his crib. He’s a 7/9/9/4/4 Aries.
Wilsonoff Family
Lucy and Martin “Goopy” welcomed Beverly into the world. She’s got black hair, dark blue eyes, and S2.
As a toddler. She’s a Libra, 2/9/2/6/7.
And then her little sister Maxine came along. Brown hair, violet eyes, and S1.
Haggerty Family
Edith and John welcomed Donna. She’s got brown hair, brown eyes, and S1.
Soon after, a little brother followed. He was named Dennis, and has brown hair, deep denim eyes, and S1.
Donna aged into a toddler, and her personality is a 5/9/7/3/1 Aries.
Gavigan Family
It took them a little while, but Shirley and Walter eventually gave birth to a son they named Dwight. He’s got brown hair, green eyes, and S2.5.
As an adorable toddler. Dwight is a 6/10/10/8/1 Gemini.
Thorne Family
Ah, Bruce and Rosalie. Singlehandedly thumbing their noses at my futile attempts at population control.
You’ve already met them, but let me reintroduce you to Douglas and Franklin. Douglas, on the left, is a 2/3/9/10/1 Sagittarius with brown hair, light blue eyes, and S3. Franklin is on the right, and he’s also a Sagittarius but he’s 3/4/9/7/4. His coloring is the same even if it doesn’t look like it. When creating the new sims, I clicked on the wrong genetics in a few places. I’ve since fixed my errors.
*sigh* Fine, Bruce. Ignore your wife’s screams of agony. Go to work. You’ll need the money if you keep having kids at this rate.
This is Veronica. She’s got brown hair, dark blue eyes, and S3.
As a toddler. She’s also a Sagittarius, but is 2/3/9/10/4.
Baby number 4 is another girl, who was named Marjorie. She has brown hair, grey eyes, and S3.
Toddlerized Marjorie. She’s a Sagittarius (surprise, surprise) with the stats of 2/3/9/6/9.
And squeaking in during the last hours of the rotation, meet baby number 5, a boy named Elmer. He’s got brown hair, dark blue eyes, and S3.
Howard Alcott Family
Howard and Jessica had a baby girl, named Patricia. Brown hair, light blue eyes, and S3.
As a toddler. Such long eyelashes! She’s a Sagittarius; 1/10/10/10/3.
Then they had a boy, Allen. He’s got brown hair, green eyes, and S3.
Frederick Bradford Family
I think I mentioned that Freddy and Abbey had a son at the end of the last rotation before the rebuild. Well, here he is. Gordon Bradford, Virgo (10/1/9/8/1), with S2, black hair, and cacao eyes.
Then they had a daughter, Eleanor. She’s got brown hair, brown eyes, and is S2.5.
As a toddler. Eleanor is a Taurus 9/3/5/9/1.
And since somebody wants to graduate 3 kids from college, I let them have one more. This is Norman, and he has black hair, brown eyes, and S2.5.
Daniel Bradford Family
Susan as a toddler. She’s a Virgo, 10/3/4/2/8.
Then they had a son, named Michael. Michael has black hair, steel grey eyes, and S0.5.
As a toddler. He’s a Cancer, 9/3/6/6/10. He really takes after his mother; you can’t really see any of Danny in him.
Nicholas Bradford Family
Just a cute picture of Alice teaching Peggy to walk.
Nick & Alice have another girl, who has been named Annette. I think she’ll probably be called Nettie as a nickname, not that it’s any shorter than Annette, but I think it sounds cute.
She’s a toddler, who is a 7/6/4/10/5 Taurus. You may not be able to see it, but she has freckles just like her mom.
So…still with me? That’s the first round of baby pictures. There will probably be a few more kids born as I play the next rotation, and I’ll share them when I get to that point.

I am never going to keep all these kids straight, jsyk. At least I should be able to manage the truly important ones...
Rosalie is going to be interesting with five kids, I have to say. It'll either make her exceedingly happy or make her realize that this ISN'T making her as happy as she expected. It also works for Shirley to only have a couple - she doesn't seem the type to want a whole brood.
Yay babies! Can't wait to see whoever else you come up with, but as we said, at least you don't have to get them all married anymore - yay birth control and women's lib and hippies!

on 2013-08-19 12:25 am (UTC)Hey, I have some people with nice points floating around...just not many. :P They tend to jump a generation (or four).
If *I* can't keep them all straight, I certainly don't expect anyone else to either. I'll have to make sure to properly introduce anyone as I go.
Rosalie may not be done with kids; every time her ACR timer has gone off she's ended up pregnant. You're right that she's going to love it or hate it, though I won't say which just yet. Shirley & Walter don't seem to be all that interested in kids. I may have the have at least one more, but I've already sketched out a scene with Alice, Rosalie and Shirley having lunch or something and Rosalie commenting on Shirley's "lack" of kids, and Shirley retorting that she's not a walking baby factory. :P
I'm looking forward to seeing if I get any more kids (at least in the main families) and where it goes. I'm so glad that they don't have to all marry & reproduce; hippie communes for the lot!
