I freaking won!!!

*ahem*  So, what were my goals?  Let's recap, shall we?

Goal 1: To write and publish Chapter 25 of The Bradford Legacy.

Goal 2: To write one drabble a week, unrelated to the chapter.

Week 2 is winding down, and here's a summary of where I am.

Goal 1: To write and publish Chapter 25 of The Bradford Legacy.
Scenes written: 5/11(?)
Slide Count: 49/??? (average is around 160 per chapter for me)
Word Count: 3441

I've made okay progress with the writing.  At this point, I've at least figured out the WHAT of many of my scenes, if not the HOW.  So that's more than I had last week.  I'm hoping that will make things go faster.  I still have yet to touch the 4 houses I still need to play in the rotation for the chapter, and I'm not going to touch them until I get the scenes written that I need to write.  That way, I'm hoping to not have to use the dummy hood for too much to save some time.  The good news is that I have a ton of free time (which can be a curse), so I still feel okay about this part of the goal.

Goal 2: To write one drabble a week, unrelated to the chapter.
I have a start on a drabble for this week, but I'm not happy with where it's going.  I may revamp it, but I'm thinking I'm just going to scrap it at this point.  I do have a pretty solid idea for an alternative, and I'm planning on writing it this afternoon and posting later tonight.  That will leave me with 3 more drabbles to write to fill this part of the goal, and I think I can do it.

So again, I just need to WRITE WRITE WRITE, and them FILM FILM FILM.

One week into things, and I figured I should post a progress update.

Goal 1: To write and publish Chapter 25 of The Bradford Legacy.
I've got two scenes fully written at almost 1,000 words.  There are roughly 10 more scenes that I need to write before I can play/film.  All of the houses in the rotation that I don't need pictures from are played, so I have 4 (I think, I don't have my notes next to me) left to play through.  I'm going to do my best to write at least one more scene tonight, and keep pressing so I can start filming next week.

Goal 2: To write one drabble a week, unrelated to the chapter.
So even though last week was short, I did get a drabble finished.  If you missed it, you can read it here.  For this week's drabble, I'm going to review some old Simspiration prompts to see what inspires me.

So, I think I'm in decent shape.  I just need to buckle down and WRITE, even if I'm not feeling like it.
