May. 31st, 2011 08:02 pmSo I preordered Sims 3 Generations. I thought that some of the stuff included might make it worth my while to play as a distraction when I just want to play a simming game. Went through the EA store, and got the free stuff pack and free shipping, which is fine. It came today.
Actually, 2 copies came today.
So I check EA. According to them, I got 1 copy. I check my credit card statement online. According to them, I got billed for one copy.
I'm going to wait a few days to make sure, but I think EA fucked up in my favor. I like it. I'll probably sell the other copy on eBay, and recoup some of the cost of my copy.
I love it when a screw-up works in my favor.
ETA: Just checked out TS3 forum, and apparently this happened to lots of people. EA has told people that they can keep the extra copies. I'll call them tomorrow and ask, but looks like I'm coming out ahead on this one!
